Returns & Refunds

Online and In Store purchases are valid for exchange, store credit, or refund within 14 days from the received date.All returned or exchanged items must be unwashed, unworn, and undamaged, with all tags attached. Jewelry, Home Goods and Gifts must be in its original packaging. All returned items must be accompanied by the receipt of purchase. Sale merchandise and gift cards are all final sale items and cannot be returned or exchanged. Customer is responsible for shipping costs of return goods. Shipping costs are not refundable.

 

Well Read reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if merchandise received is not in its original condition, outside the 14 day policy or is part of a promotional sale. Please refer to the Disclaimer page for current promotional details and exclusions.

 

IMPORTANT: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method if returned within our 14 day Return Policy. Returns outside the 14 day policy will be issued a store credit if applicable. Store credits are issued in the form of a Discount Code sent to you via email to apply during checkout the next time you shop with us. Store credits do not apply to Shipping Costs. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs. Gift cards and store credit are not transferrable and may not be used to purchase another gift card and are not redeemable for cash. 

  • Purchases between November 1st and December 24th may be exchanged or returned until January 5th.
  • All sale merchandise and special orders are final sale and may not be exchanged or returned. 

 

Should you receive damaged, defective, or the wrong item(s), please email us or give us a call at (239) 221-3282. Customer is responsible for Shipping Costs. Shipping Costs are not refundable. Upon receipt of your return, our Online Returns Department will inspect your merchandise to confirm that the item is damaged, defective and/or the wrong item and a customer service representative will reach out to you.

 

Once you have notified us of a return request or exchange and the request has been accepted, you will have 2 days from the request acceptance to ship the merchandise back. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs and sending the merchandise back to the address provided to you by our Online Returns Department. Shipping Costs are not refundable. Once we have received your return or exchange, our Online Return Department will reach out to you with the status of your return or exchange. Refunds will take an estimated 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Exchanges

We are happy to exchange items in perfect condition with price tags attached if your size is available.

The most effective way to make an exchange is to email us with your Order Number or give us a call at (239) 221-3282. Once you have notified us of an exchange, purchase the new size and color you need online. Simply write exchange in the comment section box on the checkout page. We will credit the original purchase when your return arrives at our returns department. 

Customer is responsible for shipping costs. Shipping Costs are not refundable. 

Shipping

Well Read has three options to pick from when it comes to receiving your order.

 

Option 1: In Store Pick Up 

If you are local to the Bonita Springs, Florida area, we offer in store pick up. You will receive an email once your order has been fulfilled. 

Orders are completed and ready for pick up in 1-2 hours.

You have 3 days to pick up your order. If you do not pick up your order within 3 business days, we will contact you before cancelling your order.

If you need more time to pick up your order, please call our store at (239) 221-3282 and one of our associates will assist you.

 

Option 2: Signature Required

Well Read offers Signature Required as an add on to ensure you receive your package safely. We highly recommends our Signature Required option to ensure you receive your package safely and to avoid Doorstep Theft. To select this option, please notate in the 'Comment' section during checkout that you would like Signature Required added to your shipping. When you select this option, a signature will be required at the time delivery through USPS. If you miss your delivery, USPS through your tracking number will allow you to reschedule a delivery or pick up the package at your local post office. If you do not sign for your package/set up a redelivery and the package is sent back to sender, Well Read will cancel the order and refund you for the amount of the goods, but not the shipping costs.

 

Option 3: No Signature Required 

Though Well Read highly recommends our Signature Required option, if you choose to not require a signature at the time of delivery, Well Read is no longer responsible for the safety of your package's delivery. This means that if your package goes missing or you do not receive it, Well Read will not issue a refund to cover the lost goods. 

 

Shipping costs are nonrefundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. 

Order handling time is 1 to 2 business days. Standard shipping time is typically 2-5 business days for shipments within the United States. International shipping time is typically 7-11 business days.

Delivery time does not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Items purchased on Friday will be shipped on the following Tuesday.
